Sheldon Clottey
Sheldon began his career recruiting in the construction industry over 10 years ago and founded Charles & Charles in 2016. He enjoyed success working with a number of major Main Contractors & during the post recession boom he took the opportunity to initially focus on appointments for Residential Developers before diversifying across multiple markets in the industry.
Sheldon is Managing Director of the business and delivers Estimating & Preconstruction appointments in the US and Internationally.
Alex Marr
After graduating with a degree in business studies from Leeds Metropolitan University, Alex started his working career in construction and spent over four successful years working for a leading building services contractor in the UK. Within Charles & Charles, Alex has been responsible for taking the sales and business development lead within the core business focusing mainly on Ireland and Mainland Europe. Alex is a huge Sunderland football fan and likes to keep fit, watch football and play poker in his spare time.
Maryanne Taylor
Maryanne joined Charles & Charles in 2020 and has quickly risen through the business, building an extensive network within USA, UK and European markets. With a background in marketing, Maryanne has been working with a mixture of International clients to find the best talent in the market and often relocates people from across the globe. Maryanne focuses on our Estimating roles at all levels in North & South Carolina and is great at new business development, building relationships with both clients and candidates.
Ella Parikh
Ella started with Charles & Charles in 2021 and is a mastermind when it comes to finding new techniques in locating the best 'up and coming' talent. During her time at Charles & Charles she has contributed to a number of high profile appointments in the Irish market, working alongside Alex. Having progressed through the business, Ella now focuses on Preconstruction & Estimating roles at all levels in Miami and throughout Florida.
Holly Bennett
Holly joined Charles & Charles in 2022 and is supporting our USA team on fulfilling Estimating roles from Junior to Senior level across the States. With a vast array of opportunities coming into the business thick and fast, Holly will be on the team with Sheldon & Maryanne to ensure our clients and candidates are receiving the best service.
Toby Cook
Toby joined Charles & Charles in the Summer of 2022 and is now heading up his own team. Toby will be looking after some of our best clients in the state of Georgia. Before Charles & Charles Toby spent time recruiting in the Renewable Energy Sector and even spent some time in finance working for JP Morgan. Toby brings hard work & charisma to the team which has contributed to his success in filling some of the “Hard to Fill” positions.
Alessia Arnone
Alessia has a background in property and was identified by the business to focus on our Quantity Surveying positions across Ireland. Alessia has been able to bring a consultative approach from property into the world of Executive Search. She has great enthusiasm for the industry and is excellent at listening to the requirements of both our candidates and clients alike.
Freddie Mannering
Freddie joined Charles & Charles at the start of 2023 and will be assisting our Director Alex to ensure our clients and candidates are receiving the best service. In her spare time Freddie is a Stylist and Creative Director.
James Kong
After beginning his career as an Agent in the Footballing world, James has joined Charles & Charles to work alongside Toby and his team, focusing on operational roles across the state of Georgia. James has an exceptional attitude for everything he does and is keen to match top companies and upcoming Project Managers.
Jennifer Horgan
Jennifer joined the business in the Autumn of 2023 after graduating from University and will be working alongside our Ireland & Mainland Europe team, maintaining our client relationships and searching for the top talent in the industry.
Harry Smart
Harry joined the business coming from a Customer Service background, he has come in with an incredible attitude to ensure he's providing the best service that he can. Harry will be dedicated to helping up and coming Estimators & Project Managers across Washington, D.C. and Maryland to find the best move for their career.
Tash Farwell
Tash started at Charles & Charles in the Autumn of 2023 to work alongside Ella in finding the best 'up and coming' talent across the Florida Construction Market.
